I have come across a review made by a girl who is a professional stylist. She was answering someones question which is the best flat iron under 100 dollars. As she's a professional in this area and have tried practically all the chi flat iron official website I especially appreciate her recommendations.
She summarized what are in her opinion the best flat irons on the market and here is the result. She had the best experiences with Solia, Kenta, Sedu, Infrashine and Ghd. I have checked all of them and saw that the prices were actually a lot higher than $100 except one and that is Solia Tourmaline Ceramic Ion Flat Iron, which is in the picture on the right.
As Solia was the only one that fit into 1 hundred dollars I'll focus just on this one and here are some specifications:contains special ceramic/tourmaline ion plates for better and safer resultsyou can use it for both dry and damp hair without any worriesit's just wide enough for any types of hair yet still narrow enough to make bangs
Negatives:
To be honest with you, I was pretty surprised to find some negative opinions on this one as I truly believed the lady I talked about that was a professional stylist and pointed out this one as one of the best on the market. I found out that some people are not happy with the heating of the plates. In their reviews they mentioned that it acts like it never gets hot, although it seems to be set on over 400 degrees. They complain that one has to actually run through the hair sometimes more than four times to get it straight.
If I think about it, it's not really a negative side of the hair iron but I think rather positive. The complaining people are in my opinion just more-less accustomed to their cheaper hair irons that don't pay less attention to their hair safety and heat up like crazy. Anyway it's just my opinion.
Thank you for reading and I hope I helped you at least a little bit.
